Ms. Anthony represents individuals and corporations in complex commercial litigation disputes. She has experience in matters involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, civil conspiracy, copyright, intellectual property, and ERISA. Ms. Anthony also has extensive experience litigating insurance coverage disputes and product liability claims.
Among other matters, Ms. Anthony has represented a proprietary trading firm in several lawsuits, winning summary judgment in favor of her client in a case involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty and fraudulent concealment; a large commercial insurer in a complex insurance coverage action, litigating novel issues of proration and exhaustion; a wind energy developer in a dispute over the ownership of a wind energy farm; and private equity firms in post-acquisition stock purchase agreement breach of representation and warranty claims.
Though Ms. Anthony’s primary focus is litigating complex commercial disputes, Ms. Anthony enjoys and has dedicated a portion of her practice to pro bono work and has represented clients prosecuting claims under Section 1983 of the United States Code and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) and challenging the legality of an Illinois statute under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Prior to joining Anthony Ostlund Baer & Louwagie P.A., Ms. Anthony was an associate at Grippo & Elden LLC in Chicago, Illinois.

Ms. Anthony earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001. She earned her Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law in 2005. While at Northwestern, Ms. Anthony externed for The Honorable Paul A. Magnuson and The Honorable Susan Richard Nelson of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. She also interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois. In addition, Ms. Anthony was a two-time member of the Regional Champion Northwestern University National Trial Team. |
